The Reason for This Blog: #TroyCrossleyTruth is a Lie. Troy Crossley Lies.

If you found yourself here, you'll probably know about Troy Crossley. He's the 20 year old "hip hop artist" from Chelsea, MA who claims to believe that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, known to his friends as Jahar and the rest of the world as the younger (and surviving) suspect who allegedly planted the two pressure cooker bombs at the 2013 Boston Marathon at 2:49 pm on April 15, 2013, that killed 3 and injured over 200 innocent people. Troy Crossley is the primary driver behind the #FreeJahar movement on Twitter, and frequently tags his tweets #TroyCrossleyTruth.

This blog wasn't created to prove that Dzhokhar is guilty. According to the Declaration of Human Rights, Mr. Tsarnaev is innocent until proven guilty by a jury of his peers (or pleads guilty in a court of law). This blog is simply here to prove that Troy Crossley is lying to you. He is building a following of young, impressionable young people by broadcasting misleading or genuinely false statements created by conspiracy theorists and manufactured lies, and until now there is no one place dedicated to refuting these theories.

This blog is dedicated to exposing his lies, in the hopes that the young people following him can find a place to question him and begin to think for themselves.

As Americans, we should believe that anyone accused of a crime, even one as heinous as the one committed on April 15, should be declared innocent until proven guilty. We should also be a generation that thinks for themselves and with complete access to the truth.

Above all, we should always remember and support those affected by this unmitigated act of terrorism, and remain strong and committed to a better, more transparent world.

  1. Thank you for your excellent work. Partisans of the truth are becoming an endangered species in these mad times.

Let us note that no conspiracy liars dared to confront Jeff Bauman while the victim of terrorism was on his book tour.
